evna is an EV charging operator and platform built in Australia, for Australia. We design, install, and operate charging infrastructure for property owners, fleets, and communities — under one roof, on open standards.
why we exist
Australia’s charging story isn’t being told well enough.
Australia is in the middle of a fundamental shift. Vehicles that have run on petrol for a century are giving way to electric ones — and the infrastructure to support that change is being built right now, in real time, by whichever companies decide to step up.
Mark started evna because Australia’s EV charging story was being written by overseas software vendors, fragmented installers, and proprietary networks that locked operators in. With a background in electrical work and IT networking, he saw a country that needed charging the way it has petrol — reliable, everywhere, no fuss when you arrive. evna is being built to deliver that.
evna exists because Australia’s EV transition deserves better than fragmented vendors, proprietary lock-in, and projects that promise everything and deliver pieces. We started evna to bring the whole picture under one roof — software, services, accountability — designed for the way Australia actually buys and runs infrastructure.

Mark's background is in electrical and IT networking. He started evna because he wants any Australian driving an EV to be able to plug in wherever they are, charge without hassle, and get on with their day.
